Virtual Datacenter

Virtual Datacenter – based on Microsoft Hyper-V technology

Flexibility with VDC services

Independently define the resources available on your virtual servers right away. Predefined VM templates allow you to create new VMs in a matter of just a few minutes. Use the dashboard to independently create, start or stop your virtual servers in the Swiss data centre operated by nexellent ag.

Virtual Datacenter – how it works

The software-based Virtual Datacenter essentially offers all the properties of a conventional IT infrastructure with the added benefit that you do not need to make large investments for server, network or storage environments. Simply let us know what your initial RAM, CPU and storage capacity requirements are. At a fixed monthly rate, nexellent will provide you with the pool of resources that matches your specifications alongside highly available structures.

Self-service portal for maximum freedom

Define the RAM, CPU, disk space and network properties of your servers whenever you like and scale these values as needed with a click of the mouse. You can independently create and manage your VMware snapshots while keeping an eye on your resources at all times thanks to the browser-based dashboard. The self-service portal based on Microsoft Azure technology offers a wide range of useful functions that, for example, allow you to authorise extra administrators for your virtual data centre.

Managed services

For all of our server and cloud services, we offer numerous managed services that increase the security and availability of your private cloud environment. Services such as system management, managed firewall, backup and monitoring are available for you to choose from.
